Learn To Have The Courage To Speak Your Truth Quietly & Clearly, and Listen To Others.

Unequivocally it's ethically justifiable to have the courage to speak your truth. Ethics are moral principles that govern a person behavior. And Justification is the act of showing something to be right or reasonable. Sometimes some mechanisms are applicable right or wrong with the intentions of the greater good or greater outcome or for achieving overall good.

But when it comes to humanity more care needs to be taken to ensure principles of fairness, equality, tolerance, freedom of expression, more understanding, considerations of individual uniqueness, and differences. Before you make a judgment on someone please consider many things ask questions in most cases directly and use the power of observation.

some people said that the best way to know how someone feels or check someone's character is by proactively making them angry it will show fully who they are. But based on the principles of universal laws of ethics and morality that concept is ethically wrong in justification. when you intentionally keep upsetting a stranger who might be a good person or a bad person to ascertain their nature and to prove a point sooner everyone is pushed to anger. Especially people who don't know how to manage emotions or with low emotional intelligence. Some people are very often over-excited and too much of that is also not very good.

Virtue lies in the middle of everything, integrity is a currency you can use it to buy things. There is strength in being different. Some people see the glass half full. Others see it half empty. I see a glass that’s twice as big as it needs to be.

Be careful whom you are taking advice from because there is no diplomacy with lies. Apply the triple filter test to tell or speak your truth.

1.Filter for truth - make absolutely sure what you want to hear from someone is the truth!

2.Goodness Filter - Is what you are about to tell me about someone something good?

3. Usefulness Filter - Is what you want to tell me about someone going to be useful to me?

If what you want to discuss is neither true, nor good, nor even useful, why discussing it at all? There is no neutrality in crisis either agree or disagree conscientiously. Loyalty and Honesty are very expensive don't expect it from cheap people, be accountable for your life.!

Nigeria Youths and Peaceful Protest

Bad leadership and corruption has eaten deep into the minds of African leaders. Corruption is a universal problem, even in the civilized world. Corruption is the worst nightmare that we have ever suffered as citizens for decades in Nigeria and most African nations. Bribery, corruption, power intoxication, dictatorship reigns supreme.

Past elections in my country explain how corrupted our leaders were in my country. Our government is fighting corruption but has the worst record of being corrupt themselves with the shelter of their immunity which, will not cover them forever. 

What a person gives he takes, nobody gives what he has not and cannot offer, he who pays the piper calls the tune.' The children and young people we exploit today due to bad leadership and corrupt practices will retaliate on the society tomorrow. Corruption is a cankerworm that has eaten deep in the lives of African leaders.

A peaceful protest by the youths of Nigerians is their fundamental human right to try to change the narratives. To try to ask for basic amenities, to ensure equal distribution of resources across the entire region. To offer schools children hope, to offer graduates opportunities after their education, to improve the economy, to put an end to decades of corrupt practices by the politicians, to put an end to brutality and oppression against citizens by men in uniform.

It is only when you have the light in you that you can enlighten others. If our corrupt leaders failed to stick to the right principles by doing what they are appointed to do. Then it's about time young people stand up and show them a way forward. And it is also about the time the whole world hears about the marginalization of Nigerians citizens and youths by the corrupt government and their armed forces.

Nobility they said "springs from the soul not by the blood."It is crystal clear that nobility comes from the type of person you are not who your parents are. Although,some people's attitude and pedigree is a true reflection of their parents character but however every human soul is a separate creation by God.What you are is a true reflection of how you are created. The way you behaves and think is a true reflection of your heart and soul. Not always what your parents or blood relatives are.

To be noble is a priceless gift, you don't have to be movers and shakers of the world to earn nobility. How you are is just the way you are, how you are is just how your heart is , The way you think and your orignal ideology is just the way you are, there might be blood influence in our lifes and behaviours but our soul and conscience directs our actions and decisions in life. listen to your inner conscience and that is just the way you are.

Visit To La Sagrada Familia

I have always loved spanish culture, music and way of life and hope to experience some of the land scapes, enviroment at some point in my life. Many Years ago back in Africa i have heard so much about the famous lagrada familiar catedral located in barcelona Spain. The architecture was designed by spanish/catalan Antoni Gaudi. i also wrote on my blog https://stephenchukwunonso.blogspot.com/2007/12/great-la-sagrada-familia-what-giant-and.html about the catedral, and 12 years after i had opportunity to visit the famous catedral.

Encounter With Strangers

During one of my walking exercise in the nature i encountered 2 elderly strangers, probably between 55 - 65 years old. When one of them saw me approaching she waved at me so i went to meet with them. They told me that they were actually looking for how to get to one store, and it has been very difficult for them to get there.

So i told them that i know the store and it's located inside a very big Mall in that area but is actually hard to get there from the point of meeting with them. The best way to direct them is to show them the shopping Mall through under ground walkway crossing to the other side of the road.

I was actually on my way to city centre after walking to pick some food items for cooking. It took us about 10-15 minutes walking distance to reach the shopping Mall.Before we reached the Mall i also showed them how to locate the bus stand for going back to their destination and they thanked me alot for my time and efforts in helping them out. When i am about to leave them one of them asked me smiling if i have someone in my life because she can introduce me to one of  relative i told her yes i have. She asked me again with a smile if i can accompany them further to the shopping Mall but wait outside for them until they finish shopping. I smiled back but told her that i am already late i have a bus to catch would  have loved to wait further. We exchanged final goodbye greetings and i left.

What i realized from this experience is to show kindness to others and as well to yourself. I also recognized that kindness can be tested especially when you go extra mile to help in the world full of uncertainties. Don't let the thoughts of people judging your intentions prevent you from being kind. Be kind to others and for yourself as well know when to say yes and when to say no unapologetically. Kindness can open doors of opportunities for your career aspirations, be Kind be firm and be confident.

Modesty and Pride Principles

Modesty literally means 'the fact of not talking much about your abilities or possession. Sometimes modesty and humility are used interchangeably. Humility is all about self and how you treat yourself. While modesty is about others and how you make them feel about themselves as well as about yourself.Pride is all about self satisfaction, achievements, the feeling that you are better or more important than other people.The feeling of pride can also be connected to the achievements of other people closer to us or other people we like.

When you examine the concept of  modesty and pride further, you can agree with me that there is nothing wrong in one being modest or pride. What matters are the circumstance and situations when it applies. Modesty is a great virtue and modest people are very likeable. Pride is also a good thing because is something intrinsic in human being.Some element of pride will push you to act accordingly.

In Psychology there is the concept of individual differences which means that every individual is unique in nature.One need to build and develop high level of emotional intelligence in other to deal with difference personalities. 

The best way in my own opinion about analyzing modesty and pride is to be consistent in one's natural abilities, skills and personalities.Modesty is a very good virtue but one should not let it make you shy away from showing up where your talents skills set are needed. Don't let modesty deprive you from your worth, never allowed modesty makes people to take your considerate personality for granted, don't let modesty makes you remain stagnant. 

You Can be anything you choose to be when you deserve and work hard to achieve it. Don't let modesty deprive you from celebrating your success and hard work in a very sensible way. Being too proud and arrogant is a great turn off and dislikeable atitude. Always showing yourself and not giving other  people chance to speak and contribute is not very encouraging.

Pride can cost someone alot of fortune so does modesty. Having the ability to balance both judiciously is the key to success. According to M.Angelou ' when someone shows you who they are believe them the first time.'Also she opined that ' people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.'Be your own individual and do what works for you. You can be an introvert yet very arrogant and proud. You can be extroverted yet very humble and modest. You can also be an introvert and very modest and extroverted and very proud. Modesty and pride has nothing to do with individual natural uniqueness, they have everything to do with one's upbringing, enviroment, peer influence, ethics, morality and education. Nobility springs from the soul not by blood.

How someone feels inside of them is a direct reflection of how they treat other people. Also the treatment you accept from others is a direct reflection of how much you think you are worth from the inside. Both modesty and pride can be applicable for greater good,you can be modest but also confident.
