THE G8 PLEGDES I HOPE WILL BE FULFILLED

I Hope the world richest and most industrialized countries of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States. which according to the wikipedia free web encyclopedia represent about 65% of the world economy. will fulfill the $60bn Aids deal they made to help in Africa especially in fighting Malaria, Hiv and TB.

"On the final day of their summit, they repeated a commitment made at the 2005 Gleneagles Scotland summit to double aid for Africa by the end of the decade".

Even though some anti poverty campaigners expressed disappointment on the outcome of the last summit of the G8 leaders in Germany, but to me is more than a success if they will fulfill there plegdes to Africa especially the worst part were there are crisis. Promises, promises ... yes, it would be wonderful if we could take time out from our self-indulgence to actually live up to our promises!

Our brothers and sisters on the African continent need so much - may God grant us the courage to do as we say.
